A business club with a waiting list and a four-figure fee cannot welcome its members with a printed sheet and a highlighter. The business club membership card in the Wallet shows each executive’s membership and its validity, and the reception desk at a lunch or a talk confirms it with one scan.

Each card bears the club’s crest and colours, the holder’s name, a number, the type of membership and its end date. You name the types yourself, for example Member at €950 and Company at €2,400 a year. For a company membership, you add each representative the company designates, and each receives a card in their own phone. When a membership is renewed or a representative moves to another type, the change shows on the card without reprinting. Reception checks by scanning the QR code with a phone.

Three real situations
Reception at the lunch and talk
Members hold out their phone, the hostess scans, and the name badge is handed over. A lapsed membership shows at once, which lets the secretariat raise the matter quietly later rather than at the door.
Seats for a sought-after speaker
When a well-known speaker fills the room, send members a ticket link for that date. Each registered person gets a QR code, and you know before the day how many places to lay for lunch.
The gala evening at the château
Partners and guests are not members, so they come with a ticket in their name. Members show their card. Both are scanned at the gate, and the evening’s contribution is settled with the club beforehand, outside MPass.

Add your members
One by one, through a sign-up link each person fills in, or by Excel import on the Pro plan. Everyone receives their card by email or by link.

The card goes into Apple Wallet or Google Wallet in one tap. To check it, you scan its QR code with your own phone, with no hardware to buy.
Example: a circle of 130 executives and 15 companies
Imagine a club with 130 individual members and 15 company memberships of two representatives each, so 160 cards. The secretariat keeps its list in a spreadsheet and imports it in one operation on the Pro plan at €49 excl. VAT per month. Annual fees are invoiced and collected by the club. As each payment arrives, the card is activated and the member receives it by email. Ten lunches a year, each with around 60 registrations, are handled with tickets scanned at reception.
Tickets for your events too
The same app creates tickets for your events, for example “Lunch & talk” or “Gala evening”. You share a link, each guest gets a ticket with a QR code in their Wallet, and you scan at the door. MPass does not collect the ticket price: you take it as you always have. See event ticketing.

Frequently asked questions
How does a company membership with several people work?
You create a Company type of membership and add each person the company sends, with their own name and email address. Each one gets a personal card showing that type. If the company changes its representative, you add the new person, who receives a card of their own.
Can the card be used as proof of membership for expenses?
The card shows the membership and its dates. For paperwork, the Essential plan and above let you create a membership certificate from the member’s record, mentioning the fee. Your invoice remains the accounting document, and MPass does not issue invoices.
Where is our members’ data kept?
Data is hosted in the European Union and handled in line with GDPR. For a club whose members are company directors, that is often the first question the board asks. The member list remains yours, and MPass uses it only to issue and update the cards.
Does MPass collect membership fees?
No. You enter the amounts for information only. Your members pay the club as usual (bank transfer, in person) and you activate their card in MPass. No payment goes through the app.
Do we need to install an app?
No. You manage everything from your browser, and your members install nothing: the card goes straight into Apple Wallet (iPhone) or Google Wallet (Android), which are already on their phone.
