Futsal club membership card: the player card in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet
A futsal club lives in a hall it shares with others: an hour on court, a small squad, and a door where someone has to know who is with you. The futsal club membership card sits in each player’s phone with their plan and the season dates, and one scan at the hall door settles the question.

A player card made for the sports hall
The player card carries the club name and colours, the player’s name and number, the plan (for example Player, Youth or Supporter) and the last day of the season. Players receive it by email or through a link dropped in the team chat, and add it to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet without installing anything. If a youth player joins the adult squad in January, you change the plan and the card on the phone follows. Checking is done with your own phone: scan the QR code and you see whether the card is still valid.
| Example plan | Example amount |
|---|---|
| Player | €160 |
| Youth | €120 |
| Supporter | €25 |
Example plans and amounts from the “Player card” template: you change the names, the amounts and the validity period. MPass does not collect these amounts. On the back of the card you write your own text, for example: Covered pitch · National competitions.
Three real situations
League night at the hall door
Several clubs follow each other on the same court. Whoever holds the door for your slot scans the player cards and lets supporters with a card through, without a paper list that is out of date by November.
Collecting the season fee
Squads are small, so two unpaid fees are felt straight away when the hall bill arrives. The treasurer activates a card only once the fee is in, and sees which cards are still waiting.
End-of-season tournament
Invited teams and their supporters get tickets through a link you share. At the entrance you scan them with the same phone as the player cards, and a ticket that has already been scanned is flagged.
How it works: 3 steps
Open the “Futsal (indoor football)” template
It is already set up for this activity: “Player card” as the title, example plans, colours. Add your logo and your own text in ten minutes.
Add your members
One by one, through a sign-up link each person fills in, or by Excel import on the Pro plan. Everyone receives their card by email or by link.
Scan with your phone
The card goes into Apple Wallet or Google Wallet in one tap. To check it, you scan its QR code with your own phone, with no hardware to buy.
Example: three teams and a handful of supporters
Imagine a futsal club with three teams of twelve and ten supporters who follow every home game: 46 cards. The fees are examples: €160 for a player, €120 for a youth player, €25 for a supporter, paid by bank transfer or in cash at training. The secretary adds the players one by one on a Sunday evening and sends each card by link. With 46 active cards the club stays on the free plan, with no time limit. A fourth team would take it over 50, and Essential at €19 excl. VAT a month would then apply.
Tickets for your events too
The same app creates tickets for your events, for example “Futsal match” or “End-of-season tournament”. You share a link, each guest gets a ticket with a QR code in their Wallet, and you scan at the door. MPass does not collect the ticket price: you take it as you always have. See event ticketing.
What it costs
Free up to 50 active cards or tickets, with no time limit. The Essential plan (€19 a month excluding VAT, up to 300 cards) adds renewal reminders and certificates. The Pro plan (€49 a month excluding VAT) adds Excel import. No commitment, and a 14-day trial of the paid plans with no credit card.
Frequently asked questions
The hall belongs to the council. Can we still check cards there?
Yes. Nothing is installed in the building: no reader, no gate, no screen. The check is done with a club member’s own phone, so it works the same way in the council sports hall, at an away tournament or in the car park before a friendly.
Does the player card book the hall or the court slot?
No. MPass does not handle bookings of halls or courts, and it does not plan training sessions. You keep your arrangement with the hall as it is. The card answers one question only: is this person a paid-up member of the club this season?
Players move between our teams during the season. Is that a problem?
No. The card belongs to the player, not to a team. It shows the plan and the season, so a player who moves from the second team to the first keeps the same card. You only edit it when the plan itself changes, for instance from Youth to Player.
Does MPass collect membership fees?
No. You enter the amounts for information only. Your members pay the club as usual (bank transfer, in person) and you activate their card in MPass. No payment goes through the app.
Do we need to install an app?
No. You manage everything from your browser, and your members install nothing: the card goes straight into Apple Wallet (iPhone) or Google Wallet (Android), which are already on their phone.
