On the front: your crest and colours, the player’s name, a member number, the plan and the validity date. Senior, Youth and Supporter are example plans; you set your own and their fees. Cards go out by email, or you share a membership link and families enter their details themselves. Change a plan when a junior moves up, or extend the date for a new season, and the card refreshes on the phone. A scan of the QR code with your phone tells you whether the card is valid.

Three real situations
Youth tournament day
Twelve visiting teams, their coaches and a stand full of parents. You issue tickets for the day through a shared link and scan them at the hall entrance, while your own players and helpers show their card.
Home match on Saturday evening
Supporters with a card walk past the cash table; everyone else pays their entry to the volunteer as usual. One scan settles any doubt, which matters when the person at the door joined the club last month.
A parent asks for proof of the fee
Some health insurers and employers refund part of a sports fee on presentation of a certificate. On Essential you create the membership certificate from the player’s record instead of filling in a form by hand.

One by one, through a sign-up link each person fills in, or by Excel import on the Pro plan. Everyone receives their card by email or by link.

The card goes into Apple Wallet or Google Wallet in one tap. To check it, you scan its QR code with your own phone, with no hardware to buy.
Example: a club of 110 players and 20 supporters
Picture a handball club with two senior teams, five youth teams and twenty supporters: 130 cards. Example fees are €175 for seniors, €135 for youth and €25 for supporters. The secretary sends the membership link to the coaches, who pass it on to families. Payments come in by transfer and she activates cards on Monday evenings. 130 cards means Essential at €19 excl. VAT a month, which also covers the renewal reminders and the certificates parents ask for.
Tickets for your events too
The same app creates tickets for your events, for example “Home match” or “Youth tournament”. You share a link, each guest gets a ticket with a QR code in their Wallet, and you scan at the door. MPass does not collect the ticket price: you take it as you always have. See event ticketing.
What it costs
Free up to 50 active cards or tickets, with no time limit. The Essential plan (€19 a month excluding VAT, up to 300 cards) adds renewal reminders and certificates. The Pro plan (€49 a month excluding VAT) adds Excel import. No commitment, and a 14-day trial of the paid plans with no credit card.
Frequently asked questions
Does MPass record who came to which training session?
No. There is no attendance register and no training schedule in MPass. Coaches keep their own notes or the tool they already use. The card only shows that a player is a member for the season, on which plan, and until when.
Age groups change every summer. Do we have to make new cards?
No. When you renew a player for the new season you extend the date, and if they move from Youth to Senior you change the plan in the same step. The card already in their Wallet updates; there is nothing to resend and nothing to print.
Can a match official check our players’ cards?
Anyone can read what is on the screen: name, plan, validity. Scanning the QR code is done from your club’s MPass account. Bear in mind that the card is a club document; it is not a federation licence, and MPass has no link with federations.
Does MPass collect membership fees?
No. You enter the amounts for information only. Your members pay the club as usual (bank transfer, in person) and you activate their card in MPass. No payment goes through the app.
Do we need to install an app?
No. You manage everything from your browser, and your members install nothing: the card goes straight into Apple Wallet (iPhone) or Google Wallet (Android), which are already on their phone.
