The card carries the club’s logo and colours, the member’s name, their member number, their plan and the date it expires. Member, Weekday and Youth are example plans. When a weekday member upgrades to full membership in June, you change the plan and the card on their phone follows. Members receive the card by email. The starter, the caddie master or the restaurant checks it by scanning the QR code with a phone. The card does not hold a handicap, and MPass does not book tee times.

Three real situations
Saturday at the first tee
The starter scans a card when a face is new. A weekday plan shows as such, and the conversation about a weekend green fee is short and polite because the card says it, not the starter.
Renewal at the turn of the year
Annual subscriptions are large sums and some arrive late. On Essential and Pro, members get an automatic reminder a month before their card ends; once the transfer is in, you extend the card and it updates.
The Sunday competition
Entries for the monthly medal can be issued as tickets through a link, with as many places as you have starting times. On the morning, the committee scans players at the desk before the draw sheet goes up.

Add your members
One by one, through a sign-up link each person fills in, or by Excel import on the Pro plan. Everyone receives their card by email or by link.
Scan with your phone
The card goes into Apple Wallet or Google Wallet in one tap. To check it, you scan its QR code with your own phone, with no hardware to buy.
Example: an 18-hole club with 450 members
Take a club with 300 full members, 110 weekday members and 40 juniors. Example subscriptions: €1,200, €800 and €300 a year, paid by bank transfer in December. The secretary’s office already holds the list in a spreadsheet, so it is imported in one go with Pro at €49 excl. VAT a month, which the club needs anyway above 300 cards. Members receive their card by email and the office activates each one when the subscription is paid.
Tickets for your events too
The same app creates tickets for your events, for example “Sunday competition” or “End-of-season dinner”. You share a link, each guest gets a ticket with a QR code in their Wallet, and you scan at the door. MPass does not collect the ticket price: you take it as you always have. See event ticketing.
What it costs
Free up to 50 active cards or tickets, with no time limit. The Essential plan (€19 a month excluding VAT, up to 300 cards) adds renewal reminders and certificates. The Pro plan (€49 a month excluding VAT) adds Excel import. No commitment, and a 14-day trial of the paid plans with no credit card.
Frequently asked questions
Does the card show the handicap or replace the federation card?
No. MPass has no link with federations and does not store handicaps. The card is the club’s membership card: who the member is, which plan, valid until when. Handicap records stay in the system you use for them.
Can it book tee times or driving range slots?
No. Tee-time booking stays in your booking system. The card serves at the moments when a person checks membership: at the first tee, at the range, in the clubhouse restaurant if members have their own terms.
What does the starter see when a weekday member turns up on Sunday?
The scan shows that the card is valid and which plan it is, here Weekday. MPass does not block anyone; it gives the starter the fact. What follows, a green fee or a word from the secretary, is the club’s own rule.
Does MPass collect membership fees?
No. You enter the amounts for information only. Your members pay the club as usual (bank transfer, in person) and you activate their card in MPass. No payment goes through the app.
Do we need to install an app?
No. You manage everything from your browser, and your members install nothing: the card goes straight into Apple Wallet (iPhone) or Google Wallet (Android), which are already on their phone.
