Club night tickets and member passes, in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet
A collective that throws a party in a hangar has one bottleneck, the door, where screenshots, forwarded PDFs and a guest list on someone’s phone meet at midnight. With club night tickets and member passes in the Wallet, each person has their own QR code, and the door crew scans it with a phone instead of scrolling through names.

Tickets for the night, passes for the regulars
For each night you create an event and share its link; whoever registers receives a ticket with a QR code in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. For your regulars, a member pass shows the collective’s name and colours, the holder’s name, a number, the plan and its end date, with plans such as Member at €20 or VIP at €80 a season, as an example. Renew or upgrade a pass and it changes on the phone. At the door, tickets and passes are scanned with your own phone. Money never goes through MPass.
| Example plan | Example amount |
|---|---|
| Member | €20 |
| VIP | €80 |
Example plans and amounts from the “Membership card” template: you change the names, the amounts and the validity period. MPass does not collect these amounts. On the back of the card you write your own text, for example: Parties · Priority access · Guest list · Open bar.
Three real situations
Midnight, the peak at the door
Two hundred people in forty minutes. The door crew scans QR codes straight from the Wallet instead of zooming into screenshots and forwarded messages. People with a VIP pass are recognised by the plan shown on it.
Opening night of the season
You send the link to your members a few days before posting it publicly. Members register first, the rest follow, and you stop sharing the link when the venue’s capacity is reached.
New Year’s Eve in the hangar
The biggest night of the year, with entry paid in advance to the collective by transfer or through the payment tool you already use. Each guest who has paid gets a ticket, and nobody argues at the door about a transfer that was never sent.
How it works: 3 steps
Open the “Parties & clubbing” template
It is already set up for this activity: “Membership card” as the title, example plans, colours. Add your logo and your own text in ten minutes.
Add your members
One by one, through a sign-up link each person fills in, or by Excel import on the Pro plan. Everyone receives their card by email or by link.
Scan with your phone
The card goes into Apple Wallet or Google Wallet in one tap. To check it, you scan its QR code with your own phone, with no hardware to buy.
Example: a collective with 60 members and nights of 200
Picture a collective of DJs with 45 members and 15 VIP members who hold a season pass, and four nights a year for about 200 people. Passes are added by hand after each member has paid the collective. For a night, the organisers share the event link, collect entry money through their own channels and let the tickets go out. With 60 passes and up to 200 tickets in a month, the collective uses the Pro plan at €49 excl. VAT per month during the season, with no commitment.
Tickets for your events too
The same app creates tickets for your events, for example “Opening night” or “New Year’s Eve”. You share a link, each guest gets a ticket with a QR code in their Wallet, and you scan at the door. MPass does not collect the ticket price: you take it as you always have. See event ticketing.
What it costs
Free up to 50 active cards or tickets, with no time limit. The Essential plan (€19 a month excluding VAT, up to 300 cards) adds renewal reminders and certificates. The Pro plan (€49 a month excluding VAT) adds Excel import. No commitment, and a 14-day trial of the paid plans with no credit card.
Frequently asked questions
Can MPass handle presale prices and price tiers?
MPass does not take payments, so early-bird and full-price tiers are handled where you collect the money. What MPass does is issue the ticket with a QR code and let you scan it. You decide who receives a ticket and when, according to your own presale rules.
How do we manage the guest list?
Treat guests like everyone else: send them the event link, or a member forwards it, and they receive a ticket in their own name. At the door there is then a single queue and a single way of checking, with no paper list alongside the scanner.
Is there a fee per ticket?
No. MPass takes no commission and no fee per ticket. You pay the monthly plan that matches the number of active passes and tickets you need, the Free plan covering up to 50, and there is no commitment.
Does MPass collect membership fees?
No. You enter the amounts for information only. Your members pay the club as usual (bank transfer, in person) and you activate their card in MPass. No payment goes through the app.
Do we need to install an app?
No. You manage everything from your browser, and your members install nothing: the card goes straight into Apple Wallet (iPhone) or Google Wallet (Android), which are already on their phone.
