Tickets for a training day or masterclass: sign-ups and entry for a small group
A training day is filled place by place: twenty-four chairs, one trainer, a room booked by the hour, and a sign-up sheet that three people edit at once. With MPass you issue tickets for a training day or masterclass through one link, capped at the places you have, and tick people in with a scan.

What the participant’s ticket shows
The ticket lists the title of the session, the date, the start time, the room and your organisation’s colours. Rates become ticket types, for example Participant at €79 and Member at €49, each with its number of places; for a course reserved for your own volunteers, the booking can ask for the member number. Participants get the link by email from you, enter a name and an email or mobile number, and store the ticket in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. The fee is settled with you: MPass takes no payment, issues no invoice and charges no commission.
| Example category | Displayed price | Places |
|---|---|---|
| Participant | €79 | 25 |
| Member | €49 | 15 |
Example categories, prices and numbers of places: you change everything. The price is shown on the ticket for information; MPass does not collect it.
Three moments of your event
Opening the sign-ups
You fix the date with the trainer and the number of seats with the room. The link then does the counting: when the sixteen full-rate places are gone, only the member rate remains, and you know whether the session will cover its costs.
Joining instructions
A few days before, you send the practical details yourself: what to bring, where to park, the lunch arrangement. MPass sends no mailings. On the day the ticket comes up on the lock screen at the time and place of the session.
Coffee and registration
The organiser scans at the door of the seminar room between two cups of coffee. Each ticket is accepted once. If the trainer needs signatures for a sign-in sheet, that sheet stays on paper and goes round the room after the break.
How it works: 3 steps
Create the event
Name, date, time, doors and venue. Choose the “Training day and masterclass” type, your colours or an image, then your ticket categories with a displayed price and a number of places.
Share the link
By WhatsApp, email, social media or on your website. Each person enters their name, picks a category and gets a ticket with a QR code straight away, to add to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.
Scan at the door
Your team scans tickets with their own phones, with no hardware to buy. A ticket that has already been scanned is refused.
Example: a photography masterclass with 24 places
Take a camera club hosting a masterclass with a guest photographer in a seminar room for 24. It opens 16 Participant places shown at €79 and 8 Member places at €49. Participants pay by bank transfer to the club, which sends its own invoice to those who ask for one, and the treasurer marks each payment received. One phone scans at the door at 9 am. Twenty-four tickets exceed the ten of the Free plan, so the club uses Essential at €19 a month excluding VAT: 150 tickets a month and three active events, enough for the masterclass and two volunteer courses side by side.
Who collects the ticket price?
You do. MPass does not collect the ticket price and does not check payment: the ticket shows the amount “to be paid to the organiser”. Your guests pay you as they always have, on the door, in cash, by bank transfer or on your card reader. In return there is no commission and no per-ticket fee, and the money goes straight to you. If you need online payment at the time of booking, a ticketing platform with payments will suit you better.
What it costs
Free: 10 tickets a month, 1 active event, scanning on 1 phone. Essential (€19 a month excluding VAT): 150 tickets a month, 3 active events, 2 phones. Pro (€49 a month excluding VAT): 300 tickets a month, unlimited events, 5 phones, guest lists and tickets with no MPass mention. No commitment, and a 14-day trial of the paid plans with no credit card. More than 300 tickets a month? Write to us before you start.
Frequently asked questions
Participants’ employers ask for an invoice. Can MPass produce it?
No. MPass never receives the fee, so it has nothing to invoice to participants. Your club, association or training body issues the invoice in its own name, with its own numbering, as it does for other income. MPass invoices only you, for the monthly plan.
Is a training course for our own coaches handled differently?
It can be. Reserve the event for members, and the booking asks each coach or volunteer for their member number. Set the price to €0 if the club pays for the course. You may also add the participants yourself from the list the head coach gives you.
The masterclass runs over two days. Do participants need two tickets?
One ticket is scanned once. For a two-day course, scan on the first morning and keep your own sign-in sheet for the second, or create one event per day if you want a scan each morning. The second option uses two tickets per participant from the monthly total.
Do guests need to install an app?
No. The ticket opens from a link and goes into Apple Wallet (iPhone) or Google Wallet (Android), which are already on the phone.
Can I try it without an account?
Yes. The trial button shows you an MPass pass on your own phone in a minute, with no sign-up. To create an event and share its link, you then open a free account: 10 tickets a month are included.
And the membership card?
Organisations that run this kind of event often have members too. The same app creates their membership card in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, and an event can be reserved for members. All cards by activity.
