Tickets for your party, themed night or DJ night, with a fast scan at the door
At a party the queue forms at 11 pm, the stamp pad is dry and nobody knows how many people are inside. With MPass you give out party tickets in advance through a link, guests arrive with a QR code on their phone, and your door team scans them in with their own phones.

The party ticket: name, price band and doors
Each ticket shows the name of the night, the date, when doors open, the hall and your artwork. Two types usually do the job, for example Advance at €8 and On the door at €12, each with a set number of places, so the cheaper one closes once it is full. The link travels through stories, group chats and the collective’s page; a guest types a name and a mobile number or email and has the ticket in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet straight away. Money never passes through MPass: the ticket says the price is settled with the organiser, at the door.
| Example category | Displayed price | Places |
|---|---|---|
| Advance | €8 | 200 |
| On the door | €12 | 80 |
Example categories, prices and numbers of places: you change everything. The price is shown on the ticket for information; MPass does not collect it.
Three moments of your event
Two weeks before: advance tickets open
You publish the line-up and the link together. Friends of the DJs book first, and the count of advance places left tells you early whether the night is filling or needs another push on social media.
Friday afternoon: the last places
When the Advance band is gone, the link only offers On the door. You can still add crew, the photographer or the sound engineer by hand, so that everyone who walks past the door staff has a ticket to show.
Midnight: the queue at the door
Up to five phones scan on Pro, so you can open a second line when the queue grows. Each code works once: a screenshot passed to a friend is refused on the second scan. For people stepping out for air, use a stamp or a wristband.
How it works: 3 steps
Create the event
Name, date, time, doors and venue. Choose the “Party and dance night” type, your colours or an image, then your ticket categories with a displayed price and a number of places.
Share the link
By WhatsApp, email, social media or on your website. Each person enters their name, picks a category and gets a ticket with a QR code straight away, to add to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.
Scan at the door
Your team scans tickets with their own phones, with no hardware to buy. A ticket that has already been scanned is refused.
Example: a themed night with 280 tickets
Imagine a collective hiring a function hall for an opening night with 280 places: 200 Advance tickets shown at €8 and 80 On the door at €12. Since MPass handles no payment, the advance price is simply honoured at the door: one person scans, a second takes cash or taps cards on the collective’s own reader. Three phones scan between 10 pm and 1 am. At 280 tickets in a month the night needs Pro at €49 a month excluding VAT, which covers 300 tickets a month and five scanning phones. A regular night above 300 is beyond what MPass handles today.
Who collects the ticket price?
You do. MPass does not collect the ticket price and does not check payment: the ticket shows the amount “to be paid to the organiser”. Your guests pay you as they always have, on the door, in cash, by bank transfer or on your card reader. In return there is no commission and no per-ticket fee, and the money goes straight to you. If you need online payment at the time of booking, a ticketing platform with payments will suit you better.
What it costs
Free: 10 tickets a month, 1 active event, scanning on 1 phone. Essential (€19 a month excluding VAT): 150 tickets a month, 3 active events, 2 phones. Pro (€49 a month excluding VAT): 300 tickets a month, unlimited events, 5 phones, guest lists and tickets with no MPass mention. No commitment, and a 14-day trial of the paid plans with no credit card. More than 300 tickets a month? Write to us before you start.
Frequently asked questions
If nobody pays in advance, what is an advance ticket worth?
It is a booking at the advance price, not a paid ticket. MPass does not take online payment, so guests settle at the door or send the money to you beforehand in whatever way you already use. If you want cash in before the night, ask for a transfer and keep track of who has paid yourself; MPass does not check it.
Can the scan check that guests are over 18?
No. MPass does not check age or identity. The scan confirms that the ticket is real and has not been used yet. If your night has an age limit, the person at the door still has to ask for ID, exactly as they would with paper tickets or a stamp.
Our hall holds 280 people. Can the link overbook us?
Each ticket type has a fixed number of places and the link stops offering a type once it is full, so the total you set cannot be exceeded through the link. Guests you wave in without a ticket are for you to count.
Do guests need to install an app?
No. The ticket opens from a link and goes into Apple Wallet (iPhone) or Google Wallet (Android), which are already on the phone.
Can I try it without an account?
Yes. The trial button shows you an MPass pass on your own phone in a minute, with no sign-up. To create an event and share its link, you then open a free account: 10 tickets a month are included.
And the membership card?
Organisations that run this kind of event often have members too. The same app creates their membership card in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, and an event can be reserved for members. All cards by activity.
